BeerMate - The Bar of the Future

With the development of the fully automated beverage dispenser for the hospitality and event industry, BeerMate has made a major innovation leap. In times of staff shortages, BeerMate's fully automated order, payment, tapping and dispensing process ensures an optimal user experience, efficient order processing, an optimal dispensing process without waste and all the other issues involved. These include recycling (deposit money).

“Consumers can order their drinks with minimal effort. The efficiency that this process creates increases consumption and therefore increases sales for our customers,” said Dennis de Laat, CCO at BeerMate.

Temporary and Permanent Hospitality Vending Points

BeerMate was initially developed for temporary catering, for example at (sports) events and festivals. This is where the BeerMate Event Container is used, which has made a big impact because visitors can get their drinks in record time without the intervention of bar staff, without long queues. Meanwhile, BeerMate has an “integrated” solution for fixed venues, such as stadiums, hospitality venues, trade shows, concert halls and other high-traffic locations. With this solution, BeerMate is responding to the staffing shortage that is putting pressure on the hospitality industry everywhere, while addressing the problem with long queues. It also aims to structurally improve efficiency and customer experience at these venues by offering fully integrated and scalable solutions.

Flawless Customer Experience

To optimize the customer experience, BeerMate is working with CM.com and other partners. The collaboration came about during the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix, where BeerMate Event Containers, with a total of 16 machines, were successfully deployed. For flawless payment, an integration with CM.com, the main sponsor of Circuit Zandvoort, was essential. In this, CM.com acted as payment processor and ensured a seamless and reliable integration so that transactions were fast, secure and user-friendly. CM.com also advised on the deployment of WizarPos terminals, which were integrated into the BeerMate vending machines. As a result, payments ran smoothly, the number of beers to be tapped was immediately registered, and things like the settlement of deposit cups were automatically included in the process.

Communication is through a fast and reliable local network. Although transactions are performed online, the local link ensures that delays are minimal and operation is highly responsive. In addition, the versatility of the terminals makes integration effective; they support contactless, magnetic stripe and insertion payments.

Together with CM.com, BeerMate plans to continue innovating in the areas of payments and visitor experience. “Combining our machines with CM.com's payment solutions will allow us to offer a new, efficient way of ordering from their customers. In addition, we see opportunities for integrations such as loyalty programs, dynamic pricing and linking transactions to data analytics, to serve customers even better.”
